salaam! i'm viviana ✦ the one pair of hands behind everything here. from my home base in lockport, illinois, i run two little crafts under one roof: sakinah blooms — custom fresh florals, sourced at chicago's wholesale market and built at my own table — and sakinah studio — cinematic films and photography, built for the ummah & open to everyone — no giant camera crews, no awkward strangers at your event. and when the big days call for extra hands, my dear friend nabeela and sister estelita step in right beside me ✦

"sakinah" means tranquility — and that's the whole point. flowers that look gathered from a garden that morning. films made by the people who love you most, edited quietly by one sister. everything hand-delivered, privacy-first, halal-conscious, and made with intention.

films of sakinah, made by the people who love you most. skip the giant camera crews and awkward strangers. i hand-deliver a professional sony 4k handycam to your door, your favorite people capture the real moments, and i edit it into a cinematic film. fully privacy-focused & values-aligned — sister-edited start to finish, with halal-conscious and music-free options always available.

how it works:

1. reserve your box — pick your package, sign the rental agreement, and pay your 50% deposit online. the rest is due 14 days before your event.
2. i bring it to you — your kit arrives 3–4 days before your event, anywhere in chicagoland: charged batteries, memory cards, and a custom shot list, handed over in person with a quiet du'a.
3. receive your film — i pick the kit up within 3 days after. raw organized footage in 10 days; your cinematic film in 6–8 weeks, in shaa Allah.

this one works a little differently than the films: for video, the kit comes to you and your loved ones do the filming. for photography, i attend myself — quietly, respectfully, one sister with a camera — and hand back a gallery your family will keep forever.
