✦ the five steps

reserve — browse the package, pick the tier that fits your celebration, and submit the reservation form. no payment is due at reservation — you'll hear back within 24 hours, in shaa Allah. once confirmed, a 50% deposit secures your dates and a refundable security hold is placed on your card (never charged unless there's damage or loss — and even then, it's capped; everything's spelled out in the rental agreement).
delivery — 3–4 days before your first event, i drive the kit to you personally, anywhere in chicagoland and the surrounding suburbs. no shipping, no ups drop-offs, no strangers at a counter. the kit arrives fully charged, pre-formatted, and ready to record the moment you open the bag — i'll walk you through the basics at drop-off.
your event — hand the camcorder to whoever your family trusts: a sister, a cousin, a parent, anyone comfortable holding it. the sony's optical steadyshot means even a first-time filmer gets smooth, usable footage. your family controls every frame — what's filmed, who's in it, and what stays private.
return — within 72 hours after your final event, i come pick the kit up — same as drop-off, in person. within 10 days of pick-up you'll receive a secure google drive link with your organized raw footage, sorted and named by event. the raw footage is yours to keep.
edit — over 6–8 weeks i cut your footage into a cinematic highlight film (3–8 minutes depending on your tier) — color-graded, paced to feel like the emotion of the day, with natural audio, nasheed, or du'a depending on your preference. you'll get a draft for one round of feedback with up to two revisions, then the final film as a high-resolution download.

these aren't policies added as an afterthought — they're how the service was built from day one.

one editor only — only i touch your footage. no contractors, no outsourced editing, no exceptions.
deleted at 30 days — all footage is permanently deleted from servers within 30 days of delivering your final film.
sister editor option — for segregated events or footage of sisters without hijab, request a sister editor at reservation. same edit, same care — the only difference is who sees it. no additional charge, ever.
no marketing use — not a frame of your footage is used in our portfolio or social media without your explicit written consent.
